I'm not in anyway associated with the seller
jobcol, and I know most of you guys have probably got a signed (UK no doubt!)
CoH in your collection; but this is a pretty good price for the US version. And, if nothing else, a cheap and affordable CT signature.

I agree that this is a good price, I have four double signed COH's, UK Trade, UK Deluxe and two Super-Deluxe editions, but if you don't have a signed copy already then I think it is worth waiting for tolkien.co.uk to have a 30% off sale on the Super-Deluxe and get that instead.
It is one of the best designed books that I own and its release has significantly lowered the value of the bookplate editions.

I'd agree Trotter. The Super Deluxe CoH is very nice indeed. I only have the one copy, and I don't have a UK Deluxe bookplated edition; only a (double) signed UK standard Hb copy. I would like very much a UK Deluxe signed by CT & Adam Tolkien; with perhaps the signature(s) of AL and David Brawn.
But £350, or a discounted £350 (£245 at present, as you state) is still very expensive for anyone who collects Tolkien on a budget. £70-80 is still (historically), I think, a cheap CT signature. And I cannot see this book decreasing in value that much, any more than a Super Deluxe copy.
You can never have too many CT signed copies tho'...
