Boxset arrived from William Morrow today. Identical in nearly every way, down to the copyright page which interestingly enough says 2023 even though release date was yesterday.

Box is snug, slightly more so than the HarperCollins counterpart. The jackets when reversed don’t have the WM logo on them and instead have the HC logo. Shame really as I was hoping they would have the WM as well.

Then the colours would need to match the colours of the US first edition hardcovers, as well 😉

No they wouldn’t, especially since they don’t match the first UK hardcovers neither.

Binding is HarperCollins as well. With a WM jacket over it.

This is very useful information, thanks Mr. Underhill. I have the first two boxes UK editions and considered getting US for the last 2 if their publication date will be earlier than UK but didn’t want the WM logo to not match the HC logo. But since the HC logo is on the reverse side of the jacket and those are the sides I’m displaying, I think I may be good to go on mixing US editions in (assuming they don’t change designs mid-series)

Aw I think this would have been a great idea! Since they already closely mirror the UK ones, it would have been cool for the WM ones to be green/white like the older houghton mifflin.. oh well :/

To be more precise, I have the first UK set and pre-ordered the second UK set. Sorry for the confusion, the second one hasn’t arrived yet.

So amazon.de pushed delivery date for boxset #3 to july (+1 month)...

It happens, they seem to always be overly ambitious with their early release estimates.
