These newer re-prints are being printed by RR Donnelley as well. I saw a CR page of one the other day that said as much.

Are those RR Donnelley prints of similar quality to the LEGO prints? I don't have any to compare to, but I do love my LoTR 50th set LEGO books and was hoping for a Silmarillion in similar quality.

Very similar, although the paper is thinner on the later print and the text of the title “The Silmarillion” is one line on the dust jacket. On The later prints “The” has been moved above “silmarillion”
