That was quite a rough copy overall for what it sold for. I actually assume the remainder mark on it was because it was retailed as a damaged copy (slipcase damage). Not entirely convinced that it was ever really sold in shrink-wrap with a remainder marked book inside. That feels quite unlikely.

Looks like it has been relisted, so not sure what is going on with that completed listing. I think you are right about the remainder mark, looks like that was applied after it was bought to me.
