Having just moved house, during the move I've unearthed my long forgotten collection of Tolkien calendars. I'd totally forgotten that I had them. My parents used to get me anything Tolkien related for Christmas and this became a bit of a tradition.
They are mostly the Ted Naismith, John Howe or Alan Lee illustrations with some official tie-ins and I have at least one from every year from 1989 to 2009 plus 2012 & 2013. The mailers are present for 1989 and 1992-1996 albeit the 1989 one is slightly discoloured and torn at the top.
The calendars from 1998, 2000-01, 2003-2009 and 2012-13 are all still shrinkwrapped.
I thought coming on here might be better than just chucking them up on eBay. I'd like to think they went to someone who'd really treasure them. Any advice gladly received!
