Does anybody have any information on Chinese and Korean editions of The Hobbit? If any good translations were done and are available for purchase?
I am currently living in Canada if that makes a difference.

There are some good threads on the Chinese Hobbit editions over on Reddit.
I've ordered a few of them, but some still waiting to arrive. I can't read Simplified Chinese, so I can't make any comment other than on construction and style.
Since you are concerned with translation, I will recommend 9787541169380 (四川文艺出版社/果麦文化), 9787572614934 or 9787572614927 (湖南文艺出版社, same translation). You can check the preview to decide which you prefer. I guess the first can be found on Temu and AliExpress now, the 2nd perhaps a couple months later.

9787572614927 (both variants - brushed edge and regular) can be found on SuperBuy easily enough. I have both coming - one was USD 8.80 and the other USD 9.20. Shipping to NZ for those and a couple of other books (all together) came to USD 30
9787541169380 is cheap and easy on Temu. From a book production perspective, it is on the cheap and cheerful end of the spectrum (very thin paper, which is common with the Chinese editions). I have the brushed-edge boxed version (USD 9.94) on the way via SuperBuy. I assume the book is essentially the same, but there are a few extras. I probably wouldn't have bothered ordering this one if I had gotten the regular edition in the post first. Of course, I'm not reading it - I'm just picking stuff up for the fun of it.
If you look at all these editions, the producers don't mind trying a few things and seeing what works, such as blind stamped runes, brown and blue maps, etc. Nice to just see some different takes on producing Hobbits.
I don't collect the Hobbit specifically, but picked this one up last year. It's more of a collector's edition on Amazon, so it's a bit pricey. It's on Temu for half the price.
