20,000 copies will last a good while before the next printing I’d guess.
Yep, that's a pretty sizeable run for something at this RRP.
This edition is stunning. Also, I was surprised to see the image clarity of the paintings on the matte paper to be quite good!
It looks beautiful. I particularly like the marbled effect page edges. Much more classy than the coloured script page edges they used on the standard illustrated editions, which I find too gaudy for my tastes. The illustration inside the slip case is also a neat touch.
Just received my copy. It's beautiful, but Return has some fault to the sprayed top edge where some of the colour has come away, so I am seeking a replacement from Amazon.
Tomorrow is my birthday, so I have timed it to arrive then :) I had no intention of buying this et until the breakdown y'all did here. They were smart to send you a review copy!
looks like I have to wait an additional two weeks before my HarperCollins set arrives. Talked with the office who deals with buying and shipping books from England to our bookstore in Norway. Apparently there was delays with this set.
We buy our books trough a website named Gardners.com

It seems like a fantastic set, although there are a few issues with mine. I'm in contact with HarperCollins about a replacement.
Looking further at my set, I’ve seen something I don’t think anyone else has mentioned yet. Tell me if I’m wrong (you know you will 😆).
The ISBN is clear enough and I noticed the box and the individual books are all the same, BUT…
what’s this I see? A different ISBN that is for a signed and limited set! Can you say what this is please?

Very likely referring to the Folio Society edition I believe (unless the year and ISBN don’t match up)
