Like others, I have gotten rid of many of my deluxe editions.

I used to purchase every new 1st, 1st of Tolkien's posthumous publications, but stopped that shortly after S&G.

I mainly collect 1st, 1st older editions now, but I'll always grab something that's a deal, relatively rare, and/or sparks my interest.

Interesting to re-read this thread, I have been buying the paperbacks that I stopped buying and really like the new paperbacks.
