Hi all!

Alan Lee’s illustrated Hobbit has been in print since ‘97, in various editions, printings etc.

I have two questions about it:

1) this link here https://tolkienbooks.net/php/details2.php?id=193 .We see that his image of Smaug is zoomed-in on head compared to other images typically presented. Not that I don’t trust TolkienBooks, but I want to verify: this ONLY happened to ISBN 026110330X, 10th printing, correct?

2) At what point was The Green Dragon Inn piece added to the book? I see that there was a newer edition closer to the time that the first Hobbit movie out with an ISBN of 9780261103306
