I've seen and heard of this happening to others before but first time it's happened to me. I bought this 10 minutes after Aelfwine posted it, my credit card was charged, and I received a confirmation email, only to receive an email 11 hours later that the book was "unavailable." My card seems to have been refunded at least.

Ahh. That's annoying. I've had it happen a couple of times - both times were with Abe for me, and things with a good price where I assume someone contacted the seller via the contact options and said "I'll give you X if you sell it to me instead" (which I consider unethical on behalf of the other buyer as well as seller - I would never personally do that).
