I came across this reference on the back of the “Tolkien reads the Hobbit” LP regarding a Letter from Tolkien to George Sayer. Not sure if it is of any interest, I couldn’t find it in the Letters guide, but it does say it was written in Elvish.

This letter is mentioned in Chronology "Late August 1952" (2017, p. 410) as well, but we haven't entered it into the Guide yet. Thanks for the additional information that we will be sure to include!
