Hello everyone. The title says it all.

I'm trying to complete my 2004 deluxe edition series, and I'm looking at getting a signed (Alan Lee) first printing of the Children of Hurin. There are about 7 currently on the market (that I'm aware of) with a wide range of prices. I'm seeing $450 to almost 1k in USD.

Assuming the book is in VG+ or Fine condition, a 1st printing, and is signed right on the title page, what would be a good price to pay or negotiate for?

I've already spoken with a few members privately, and the current running suggestions are around $250-$375 USD. Would anyone disagree with this for any reason?

I've only been collecting for a short amount of time, so I'd like to rely heavily on you more experienced folk.
