I was quite active here some years ago, before my two children were born, and before music started to become an increasingly more important priority in my life. Having two (well, I even have other hobbies as well) large hobbies is incompatible with just having one life-time, so after several months of contemplation, I've decided to sell my entire Tolkien/Middle-earth collection. About half of my collection has already been sold mostly to Scandinavian/North European buyers, but as I've started to list some more odd/rare items, I've figured these are more suited for a larger international market. It's quite a hassle to ship outside the EU, and during my heydays of collecting there was no Brexit or expensive customs charges to the US (sad to say, prices for buying overseas or from the UK have increased tenfold in just about 10 years...). Although my collection can't compare to most of what you guys here have (e.g., I have very few fancy deluxe editions or very early copies of the main works), I believe there might be a couple of items that might be of interest to one or two of you.

I will be using a Swedish auction web site called Tradera. It's owned by eBay, so I guess it's pretty straightforward for anyone in the world to register and start bidding (there's even functions for translating the whole web site to several languages, including English of course, and for showing the prices in your preferred currency).

As it takes some time to photograph and list everything, I will gradually be posting stuff here, limited to what I believe could be noteworthy books/items. Since I start all auctions low (10 SEK, roughly $1 / €1 / £1, there might be a possibility that you could snag something cheap, although shipping outside the EU can be prohibitive. And feel free to browse my Tradera user page if there are auctions of items I mistakenly deem to common to mention here.
