I thought I might let people here know that I won Lot 236 (Oxford 1915 + A New Glossary of the Dialect of the Huddersfield District), I have a small feeling that I overpayed a little, but ultimately no regrets because the thought of having Tolkien's first published poem in book form is quite inspiring. This would only be surpassed by obtaining a hardcover print of Oxford 1915.

I haven't got these books in my hands yet (waiting for the delivery), and I will post again when I do with photos if anyone would be interested.

I don't think you overpaid, FWIW.

Well done. I was going to bid and I totally forgot so lucky you. This might help remove the feeling that you have over paid a little as I would have bidded more! You've done very well and a rather nice Christmas present to yourself. I personally would be most interested in seeing more photos when your preciouses arrive which will,I know, make me even more covetous!

Thank you both for your comments, and now what small amount of feelings I had wondering if I overpaid has now been fully swept away :D
I will then certainly post photos once I have them in my hands. Thanks!

So, there was a little delay in the mail forwarding, and then a little delay in taking these photos, but as promised, here are the photos of the copy of Oxford Poetry 1915 that I won in the above auction. I am overjoyed that this is part of my collection, one of my holy grails that I never expected to have.

You will notice in the last photo that even with the utmost careful handling of the book for these photos, that some of the cover came off. I will be making a custom solander for this book to protect it properly.
