UPDATE: whoops! the permissions were set wrong, so I could see them but not anyone else! Good catch.

Let me know if you prefer the new location (top of page on right) with slightly less metadata, or the old location (more info, but buried way down under all the news stories).

UPDATE 2: and since there is no harm in it, now in both locations.

I'm happy with both, though I'm used to them at the bottom of the page

The recent posts at the bottom of the home page, seems to have stopped updating.

Fixed! Good catch again.
