Gotcha, I see those now. This one is probably just an oversight on his part.
For my own information, is there a way to see an individual seller's completed sales which might not yet have feedback on them? The only way I could find that sale on Oct 11 was to type "Peoples of Middle Earth" into the main search bar > Advanced > Sold Listings. Didn't see those sales you mentioned on his profile directly.

My usual method (on desktop, it works on mobile app too but slightly different flow) is to click on "See other items" from the seller information block on the right side of any active item from that seller:
Then, down in the search options column on the left side of the page, click on "sold listings" as a filter.
You can also use "Completed listings" instead, which will show all normally ended listings (in other words, listings that were cancelled do not show up, but those that end naturally with no bids or offers).

Well, I said it might happen. Here's a PoD being sold as "rare" and priced "to sell". I've messaged the seller giving him the benefit of the doubt, advising him to change his listing so no one gets mislead.
FWIW, I did see this listing disappear last week–I assumed it got bought. I'm willing to bet someone noticed the mistake and withdrew the sale. Hoping this guy isn't just doubling down on the deception sale.
1973Lee1973 knows exactly what he is doing - He is one of the three or four ebay sellers I consistently get irked by (and have excluded from my saved search).
Now that I'm firmly on the hunt for the final HoME volume, I'm noticing even more shenanigans. Is there any possible way to justify prices like this for US PoME? They don't strike me as particularly rare at all, and instead piggybacking off the perceived rarity of their UK counterparts. Even half this price seems ridiculous from what my market research concludes.

Yeah, that would be very high even for the HarperCollins first. Print number not mentioned which makes me think it might be a later printing. And a later printing of the first edition is still available new for $30! But: "you get the exact copy shown in the photos", so...
Here's another bargain for you! Must be, what?, at least ten times the going rate for an average eBay copy. But this is possibly not any normal copy. This has a perfect map! Does your copy have a perfect map?!
