I'd be very wary about paying this amount without images. Also, from the description, the DJ appears to be pretty badly damaged which would make this item overpriced.

A U.S. 1st/1st of E.V. Gordon's Battle of Maldon. I have seen this listed for slightly cheaper, but still a decent price and the book appears to be in good shape. No picture of the spine but a thin line of color change on the edge of the front cover suggests fading on the spine (this series of U.S. editions of Old English texts seems to have been very prone to spine fading and discoloration).
