By the way, I was successful in applying this to my pre-order of the Hobbit Facsimile gift edition... but if the order falls below £50 because of future discounting, I will likely lose it. Keep that in mind!

High probability there will be a pre-order discount, I think. The £25 edition was generally selling around the £16 mark, IIRC. I'd guess this one will sell for around £35.

Agreed, I just didn’t have anything better to order n this 24 hour window, so I gave it a shot just to see what happens.

Did the same as Urulöké. Actually cancelled the original order & re-ordered with code. Checked out at £40.
