Father Christmas edition

Does anyone have a copy of the 1998 HarperCollins edition of the FCL (ISBN: 0261103695)? Tolkienbooks.net says "miniature hardback in dustwrapper", but if you punch the ISBN into any online seller all the listings say "softcover", so I just want to know whether it is hardcover or softcover, or whether both variants exist. (The Houghton Mifflin equivalent, however, is listed as hardcover under its ISBN.)

Also, for anyone who has either HC or the HM version, can you tell me what the relationship of it is to the 1994 three-volume mini book edition? Same layout but in a single volume? Different layout? I see that they both contain the same letters (1920, 1925--30, and 1937), but this does not mean they have exactly the same content in the same order, etc. The content of the 3-vol edn. is fully tabulated here.

Thanks in advance for any help with these questions.

I think there is less in the one volume miniature book, but would have to compare it with the three volume set.

As you can see from the picture the HC edition is a hardback with a dust-wrapper.

Update: I got a copy of the one-volume mini book. It does differ in some ways from the 3-vol. version, but not by much. Neither version has "more" or "less" content, per se, but the one lacks what the other one has, here and there, and vice versa. I've charted out what's on all the pages and can share if anyone is interested (which is probably unlikely).
