Thought you might all enjoy this page from their catalogue.
Surprised that it still says limited to 5,000 copies for the LOTR Deluxe, this must have been created quite a while ago.
The ISBN number was announced quite a while ago, some sites have information on pre-ordering but not that many at the moment, I expect that to change in the next couple of months. From the description it matches the non-illustrated Deluxe series.
This elegant slipcased edition presents for collectors the first ever publication of J.R.R. Tolkien's final writings on Middle-earth, covering a wide range of subjects. Stamped in gold foil, and printed on heavyweight acid-free paper, it includes a ribbon marker and is housed in a custom-built matching slipcase.

Thank you, Trotter!

I was really hoping we'd have some (any) new info on the third ed. of The Annotated Hobbit.
Nevertheless, I'm thankful for what we do get.

I was in touch with Doug Anderson recently and he told me that 'it's not imminent'...

I'm very curious to find out more about the "deluxe slip-cased" edition of Nature, when more information will be available.
It'll feature the usual motif on both book and slipcase, and have a ribbon-marker like the rest in that format. Nothing extra. (like the goodies included in The Hobbit Facsimile Gift Set)
