Our first "on location" interview with a friend and fellow Tolkien Collector, Alan Reynolds - who has an absolutely fantastic collection! We will be back for more of his collection (with a better mic!) but here's part one.

Lovely interview. What was the first book Alan mentioned that got away? I would also love a part two walking through his collection.

Wonderful! And as I started the episode i fully expected just such a moment:
*Alan presents very rare book most people only dream of*
afterthought: "i think this might have been Hugo Dysons copy"
Perfect ?❤

Amazing! I was hoping the video would last three hours longer. It is always a pleasure to listen to Alan or read his posts on Facebook, admiring his treasures. Each time it reminds me how long and difficult the path of Tolkien collecting is, but also full of satisfactions.
PS: by pure chance, I received a copy of "A Middle-earth album" by Joan Wyatt just yesterday. And then I saw the poster behind Alan. What a coincidence!

It is not a poster but the original painting

By zero chance I just picked up a copy of this book on ebay ?☕ Thanks also to Trotter for asking about that Wyatt painting.
