Has anyone seen the add on eBay for the very poor copy of TFotR? Seller is asking 8,862.87. He says it is in need of a rebound or restoration. Is a book in this condition worth this much? Even a rebind will still have creased pages. Comm ents?
Thanks, I agree. I just couldn’t see that price as being justified, I wanted confirmation. Prices are just getting too high! I have a second printing of tRotK, a third printing of tTT and a first printing of tRotK. All are in good condition and paid between one and five thousand for each.
