Father Christmas writes to the Tolkien children, noting that he has already received letters from them. He has not started on the Christmas jobs yet and remarks that the North [Pole] has been very warm. He says that he would like to hear from the children again soon and that Sundays and Wednesdays evenings are the best days to post letters to him.
