TCG Letter #831

Tolkien sends a typed letter dated 5 May 1972, stating that he had ordered from publishers Allen & Unwin the three volumes of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit to be sent to the Dean and Chapter of Gloucester Cathedral Library, plus four signed labels. This letter appears to be a continuation of the April letter confirming that Tolkien had ordered the books to be sent to Gloucester Cathedral for its library.
