You can see some of the items which I think are part of the sale in the photo below from the Making of Mordor exhibition at Wolverhampton. The menu to the left of Tolkien's hat is mine, but the other items are part of Hilary Tolkien's estate, which is a lot bigger than shown here. The sale seems to be for a substantial part of this estate.
I noticed Andy/ADC had that up for sale. He also has the New Lodge at Stonyhurst original drawing back up for sale too.

I'm surprised HC haven't reprinted this yet (but I suspect they will at some point). The 2004 Deluxe Hobbits were creeping up strongly in price a few years back due to lack of availability, and then HC did a (presumably less expensive Hong Kong) reprint, which pushed them back to being a 20-30 pounds book on the used market. I don't ever see eBay listings that distinguish between the original print and reprint, as I suspect most people don't know the difference, anyway.

That seller has cropped up before. Always has the pointless photocopy of the will as a "bonus item". I think was also guilty of the horrible red Guild Hobbit in a dustjacket.
Also, spectacularly failed to notice that Beanie Babies are now worth nothing....

I can't understand why this edition is nearly always listed as being 1966, every time they are listed on eBay. The seller of this copy has even included the copyright page which clearly shows it is a 1974 edition.
