You're right Trotter. And I just love how they charge $10 for shipping. After $33,000, they really can't afford to offer free shipping?

I know it is an interesting item, but I always come back to -- do I really want to spend lots of money on a really scruffy (and arguably ugly) book? Sure, it is rare and interesting, but do I need to *own* it? For me, every year that goes by, the more the answer is "no". I'm not sure what the market is for these kinds of uber-expensive books, really, other than dealers/speculators looking for the bigger fool and flipping them amongst themselves. If it was a proof for almost any other author on the planet, no one would really care.

I wish these things were more useful in Museums and Libraries, but with the Estate being so restrictive on photography (or often who is even allowed to see materials), they are almost more use in private hands.
