Hello I have a lovely boxed set of Lord of the rings hardback books in a slipcase, 1987 Unwin Hyman.
Would anyone be interested in this set?
With thanks

There may well be - can you post pictures of your set? If you click on the "reply" button at the bottom of your post, the form has an image upload option.

The original poster has not logged in again since this was posted, so I think it probably did get sold.

Wishful thinking by me
I didn't know this set came with a slipcase. I saw a set on ebay today, but the case is a bit worn and was just hoping their might be a few of these around.
Just surprised I haven't seen one before as I've been collection for many years.

They are somewhat uncommon. Occasionally a set with a really fine slipcase turns up, but more often than not they do have a few bumps to the corners. The covering is not especially durable.
