I guess two sets of sales of this item in the same price region hopefully show what something like this is worth (and hopefully means to one will give 8K DF for his copy with the doctored jacket)
I’ve made two “best offer” purchases in the past month that eBay does not record publicly - the API data and website both show the asking price not the accepted price.

Are you sure, because that wasn't the asking price in this case (it was £1,895)? My experience is that is seems to sometimes be correct and sometimes not. Either way, I think we probably have an idea roughly where it ended up (say 1,200 - 1,500).
