Thanks for that should have just looked at your search page and used 1972 on the year
Having looked at this, what was so Golden about 1972?

It's scarce in this condition since the few of them I've saw on ebay or elsewhere where ex-lib books.
I just found one (hope the link works in the manner of this site's typical 'ebay link') :
Alan Lee has done NONE of the prints offered!

Thanks for sharing that book (you beat me to it).
For eBay item links - you can just paste the link in your post, and the site will (hopefully) do the rest automatically. No need to wrap it in the "url" block (but you can if you want to).
Thanks again - eBay link sharing (and the affiliate revenue trickle they generate) is what pays most of the bills to keep the site running.
This is one of the nicest limited editions ever published. Originally printed in 1978 by Guild Publishing in London, this is leather bound with spectacular gold embellishments to the cover and spine.
A true collectors delight and now, very, VERY hard to find! Don't believe me? Try to find another one!
Ten. A. Penny.

So he has had this copy rebound in leather with exactly the same embellishments, if so why? much better editions to get rebound
I know he has not had it rebound and cannot tell a real leather binding on a book.
