Saw this on Twitter https://twitter.com/JerryS01/status/1285515353083179008 and have to agree
So here is an odd thing. @HarperCollins
has started a 'print on demand' service for nice hardbacks of various #Tolkien books. They all carry the pub. date '2010' and are £40 from their site.
The seller below wants £220.00, for a book they could buy a copy of every week...

Wow that's a cheeky listing. On one hand I think the seller is scum but then I'd hope that anybody considering such a spend would do their homework first. Listing it is one thing, if someone is stupid enough to buy that then who really needs their head testing here? The seller is just an opportunist, the buyer however shouldn't be trusted to tie their shoe laces.
It is a shame they suffered so hard considering somebody loved them. The written additions are sweet. I guess if someone really wanted the text and doesn't mind the damage it would not be such a bad buy.
What a bargain, only £4350

I love how "dishonest" people always tell you how honest they are. A certain Alan-53 on eBay comes to mind.
