Ah yes! I've seen enough samples of Michael Tolkien's writing to recognize it here.
Given all that, I'd say this is legit.

Thank you very much, it is a respectable amount and since the Tolkien library is not working, it seems to me one of the best options to have a book signed by the great master.
I agree with Aelfwine; having several books from the library of Michael H.R.Tolkien, I'm happy that the parts attributed to Michael are by him.
In the end I am a bit off budget, but I bought a Children of Hurin deluxe through abebooks from a bookstore signed by Christopher Tolkien. But the truth is that I have quite a few doubts about the firm. What do you think?

I don't like either of those signatures
- they both look like photocopy/scans, or horrible penmanship at the very least
- "Christopher's" looks like nothing from him I have ever seen before
- How did Christopher get his hands on a US edition to sign? That's got to have awesome provenance for a close personal friend to have mailed it to him to be signed, as he has not been in the USA at any time to have a chance to sign any CoH books. In which case, why didn't Christopher personalize it to the close friend he was signing it for?
The seller is a highly rated bookstore and a specialist in the sale of signed and rare books. I have sent you a message and I am waiting for your reply
100% fake.
Based on what I have seen of these types of companies that sell signed items exclusively, they are very shady operations.
