Editing has been turned off for a while (for all but moderators) because of a certain individual who really, really abused it. It's on my list to turn back on, but with edit history implemented so everyone can see what was originally written.
(Editing your post after people have replied to it can be confusing at best, and very misleading at worst).

Sounds great, I should have assumed you were on top of it as always, thanks!
I would like to chime in and say that if I had the power to edit my own posts, it would be to fix errors: typos, etc that I accidentally make from time to time.

This! Plus in my case, to prevent the faux pas of double (or even triple ) posting.

Worthy of note is at the moment Amazon UK isn't shipping internationally. Book Depository, and Blackwell's do. Not sure what their prices are, but wanted to let people know that it CAN be imported.
Looks like Amazon have made different changes to the international shipping. For example for Ukraine (my location) Amazon removed standard shipping (which was 8,48 GBP (Amazon UK)/ 13 EUR (Amazon FR)/ 8 EUR (Amazon DE)) and now it has fast shipping only via DHL with price starting 35 GBP or 35 EUR. For me it’s too much and I don’t use Amazon anymore.
I just wanted to add, that for those who still do not know and are curious, the collector's edition indeed DOES come in its own brown cardboard box, a la Lord of the Rings 2014 illustrated edition.
I myself do not own a copy, though I asked on The Tolkien Society's facebook group. Post is by Gene Little, and they've supplied a photo further down in the comments.
This could supplied from a particular retailer only, though that seems highly unlikely.

Look. This guy gives a glimpse in the standard and deluxe editions of UT.

UT de luxe unpacking
Pity they managed to misfold that first laid in "poster"! Looks nice otherwise, though -- and the slipcase looks pretty solid.
