You should grab that one if you can. 80GBP for this set is probably the best price you'll see now that they are out of print.
If I had two, I'd give you one, but I only have one of these unfortunately.
I can't imagine these will prove especially hard to pick up. They have had enormous numbers of printings and seem to have turned up on eBay with regularity. I don't think there is any need to panic on availability.
I justed grabbed an used copy on Amazon.de for 60 Euro. I hope it is in good conditions.
I have also seen a few copies on Fishpond and Snazal.

Keep us updated on how the condition is! I'd imagine it's a little too soon to see a proper run on these, but who knows what will happen once the Amazon series drops.
I agree with Stu, there are a ton of these out there and they should be consistently available for a long time at little more than retail price... unless word circulates otherwise and mistaken impressions get spread around. Let's not let that happen. Dealers will (and too often do) take advantage.
Also if anyone is in contact with HarperCollins on a somewhat regular basis, would be good to try and find out if it's between printings and no new stock, or if it's gone (for now....?) so we can get confirmation.

I don't really see there ever being too much of a run on random reprints. We did not see this with the LoTR movies. First impressions of relatively recent things (such as HoME at the time) increased in value dramatically and stayed at elevated levels for a few years, as did early LoTR impressions, etc. I don't recall anyone caring too much about recent printings.
