I have ordered the Trade edition, through Waterstones in the UK for delivery to store, they are implying on the website that they are in stock and available now.

In an offline discussion with me, Mr Underhill brought up an interesting question if the US published book is Mariner vice HMH. The one I bought from Barnes and Noble this morning has Houghton Mifflin Harcourt on the copyright and title pages. I did see that Amazon indicates Mariner. Not sure if we will see both at some point?
Perhaps since this book was originally due out in March, there are still some existing contractual obligations with HMH to be fulfilled?
The terms of HarperCollins’ purchase of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Books & Media prevent HC from using the HMH name or branding going forward. While HC continues to work on the integration of HMH, frontlist and reprinted adult books going to press on July 7 or after that were branded HMH will temporarily use the Mariner name and colophon, and children’s books that were branded HMH will temporarily use the Clarion name and branding. Audiobooks will adopt the Mariner and Clarion names as appropriate, and HMH Productions is now called HarperCollins Productions. The HMH brand has been retained by the learning technology company.

I assume that these first impression Nature books were already at the printers by July 7. I think it quite possible that later impressions will have the Mariner brand instead.

The copyright page would have been produced three or four months ago or even last year, possibly before the takeover started, I think the first book to show any difference in terms of Publisher name could be the US October LOTR.
