There are few occasions in life where we get the opportunity for legitimate horn-tootin'. Toot away.
Had some time this evening to read some of the treasures in the book, my immediate impression, and I hope you take this as a compliment, it is intended as one, is that you have managed to put together a book that could be subtitled 'For Dummy's'. And what I mean by that is you have managed to keep things as simple as possible (for the average reader) without losing Tolkien’s presence. Well done Carl. This is fascinating stuff.
