I asked HC about these two remaining errors from Wayne & Christina's Blog and a missing single quote which were still in the Alan Lee 2020 hardback editions.
Have they been corrected in the new edition?
1 - Alan Lee illustrated edition Hardback 1st Printing HarperCollins 2020 The Fellowship of the Ring Page 171 4th Line from top, remove indentation for “Dear Frodo,”
2 - Alan Lee illustrated edition Hardback 1st Printing HarperCollins 2020 The Two Towers Page 452 14th Line from the top, add opening single quote.
Current text
‘You seem to know a lot,’ said Uglúk. More than is good for you, I guess. Perhaps those in Lugbûrz might wonder how,

I have emailed them to find out what that means. They have reduced the price of both books by a large margin since I checked this morning.
Any answer from Blackwell's about the "Reprint" in the book description? I receive no answer from them, yet.
Interesting that this standard edition also has its own little packaging box. Thought that was only going to be a thing HC did for all their deluxe editions going forward?
Think it is probably due to price, can't see them doing a packaging box for a £25-£30 book but for £60 yes.

The only outstanding, probably huge amount of work, is the Index to be revised by Findegil
I know that they will do this at some point and thank you in advance for the time and effort it will take.
And what, Trotter, do you think needs to be done? Other than suggesting addenda and corrigenda, the Index has been out of our hands since we re-compiled it. HarperCollins have arranged to have it revised (with an eye to our suggestions) according to the pagination of the various typesettings as they've come along. Of course, in this process there's always a chance of new errors. We noticed, for one, a missing page reference for the Index entry for "Oliphaunt" in the new edition.

That was what I was thinking about, that the Index had not kept up with your corrections unlike the rest of the text. Great news if it has.
