I always like that '92 Boxed LoTR. They did cheap out by not having proper maps, though -- so was the beginning of the end in some regards.

Agreed, also the overall paper quality of this printing seems lacking compared to my earlier volumes in this series. Feels like a lower quality.

Definitely. I still like it though. And even the textured paper used instead of buckram does look appealing. I just wish people would not advertise them as being leatherbound when it is is very obviously paper...
