I will get a UK one volume and the three volume box-set when it comes out, will post some pictures. If anybody gets the US versions could you do the same.

Thanks Trotter. The spine may sway me into buying that one volume paperback so I appreciate that.

Looks like minor differences between the UK and US covers, not really sure why.

This cover should have been used for a 2nd Age book...

That’s a lovely painting. Looks very Alan Lee but he isn’t associated with ROP. I wonder whose work this is - John Howe perhaps? And which scene does it depict? It looks like the Mirror of Galadriel might be shown there.
I’m fairly certain it is concept art for this scene with Galadriel and Gil-Galad from the show
Good catch. ?
I wonder who the artist is, I know that Howe has been suggested, but that doesn't look like his style.

More information from HarperCollins
I like how the artwork wraps around the whole book.
Also, I’m not sure I’ve seen many editions (if any?) that reference the Appendices on the spine. Given the source material for the show, that makes some sense.

Interesting that it has a Prime Video logo at the bottom on the rear cover. The cover artist appears to be named there too. Which I think may say Ted Nasmith.
EDIT: Nah, not Ted. The first name looks like Ted but the second is too small and it appears there is an LLC at the end.

The Peter Jackson film tie-ins had New Line Cinema logos on the back as well (The Hobbit tie-ins may have been Warner Brothers, but I don’t have any of those).
