I thought I'd seen every english language version of The Hobbit, but I am unfamiliar with this unwin paperback version. The copyrigh page indicates a 1987 publication date. Anyone familiar with this edition? Thanks.

I wonder is ELT is "English Language Teaching" and related to "Pearson ELT". From memory, Pearson acquired Longmans, so could be a paperback equivalent to the hardback Longman editions? Not something I have seen before personally:
Edit:
Tolkienbooks.net has an entry for it:

Hi guys,
I’ve got a spare copy of this one (The Hobbit ELT/Unwin 1987)
https://tolkienbooks.net/php/details2.php?id=164I know it’s rare but can someone tell me the price I should be asking? As I’m looking to sell it.
It’s in good condition.

That is a very interesting edition. I have no idea of what it's worth.

I’m willing to trade it with someone for something I’m looking for too.
PM me if you’re interested.

These turn up every three or four months on eBay, the most you would probably get on eBay on a good day is £40, though more likely £20-£30.
