Some pictures of the new book alongside matching Deluxe editions and previous UK printings of The Complete Guide to Middle-earth.
I decided not to buy the standard but just the deluxe. It’s arriving later today apparently. It’s looking good in your pictures. What’s your take on it? Did they correct the small printing error from the standard at all?
The printing errors are still there, no surprise as it would need to be reprinted for those to be fixed.
I really like it, and it does match the other two editions.
I can't think of any other Tolkien titles that would fit this format, except for the Great Tales.

Thanks, Trotter. I didn’t think it would change and you had suggested that before. It certainly looks good anyway.

Amazon UK has listed a paperback for release August 2023.
Between this and the paperback listings (WM and HC) for Nature of Middle-earth sure is looking like we won't be getting a paperback for the Illustrated Unfinished Tales -- considering it came out before either of these and we haven't got a listing for it.onthetrail wrote:
