With regard to Oronzo Cilli’s new edition of Tolkien’s Library, has anyone bought it yet? What’s it like now with corrections and additions?

The Art of The Hobbit and The Art of The Lord of the Rings listed for next year are new printings, once present stock is exhausted, each with minor corrections to the text. Also, in order to keep production costs and therefore prices in check, The Art of The Hobbit will no longer have foldouts, and each title will no longer come in a slipcase, but instead will have a dust-jacket. (The HarperCollins editions to date have had slipcases but not jackets, while the Houghton Mifflin editions have had jackets but not slipcases.)

Edelweiss provides more interesting info:The current net of the Silmarillion Illustrated by the Author edition published in Fall 22 is 96K, POS is OVER 70K copies. The Lord of the Rings Illustrated Edition (the exact same format as this), published in Fall 2021, has netted 125K copies. The Lord of the Rings Special Edition (the exact same format as this) published in Fall 2022 has netted 20K copies.
In addition to this book, in Fall 2023 we will publish a brand-new edition of The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien, Letters from Father Christmas, and The Silmarillion (Deluxe Edition).
Letters from Father Christmas
HarperCollins, have informed me that this edition matches the recent hardbacks in size and style such as The Fall of Númenor.

Glad we are getting another hardback to match this style. Not super psyched it's FCL though, as there have been several new releases of this recently.
That trade hardcover size seems a bit small for all the detail in the images of the letters. Considering the occasional faults in transcription, it's helpful to be able to read the original letters themselves.

Tolkien: Lighting Up The Darkness, 9781684971879
Seems to be translated from Tolkien - Eclairer les ténèbres (9782302078888), though the page count increases from 80 to 112.
This graphic novel explores the youth of the author of The Lord of the Rings, and his traumatic experience of the battlefields of the First World War, which will forge the imagination of his literary work.
