I'd strongly recommend people use a package forwarder. When I purchased the Hardcover, the shipping quote from Haggerty was USD 75 (which I was unwilling to pay). I used a forwarder (in my case NZ Post) to send it to NZ and total shipping (and GST) ended up being somewhere in the USD 30 - USD 35 range (I don't recall exactly).

On Thursday, November 17, 2022 John Garth presented Whispering Leaves; How Tolkien's Manuscripts Reveal the Secrets of His Creativity lecture. Trained as a journalist, John Garth has gained an international reputation as a leading writer about J.R.R. Tolkien and a popular commentator on Tolkien’s works and life. Garth's published works include the recent The Worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien (2020). His earlier masterpiece, Tolkien and the Great War (2003), is universally acknowledged as a classic in the field of Tolkien Studies. Garth, who has made a special study of Tolkien’s manuscripts, focused his lecture on a manuscript that is part of Marquette’s collection and has never previously been exhibited or published. He demonstrated his renowned historical research skills by analyzing the manuscript and used it to tease out insights about Tolkien’s experiences during the Second World War.

This was a very good talk and (as shown by all those "©2022"s on the title image) it includes a significant amount of mss material that wasn't previously published.

If I'm understanding this correctly, all of these videos will only be viewable for the next week and a half while the exhibition is still open, so I would encourage everyone to watch this now while it's still up.

Yeah, I’m sad about it. I was just about to finally buy a copy.
