Here you go!
Thank you.
As Mr. Underhill said, your TTT is a 6th printing.
Regarding your FotR copy, I would say it's more likely an 8th printing, rather than a 7th. Most of the 7th I've seen seem to have a light blue binding, instead of the more common navy blue used for the other impressions.
Are there any other points between the 7th and 8th editions? That would make all three 1959 editions, which i odd, since I bought them piecemeal from multiple sellers. Not bad for a set though! Might have me looking for a 1959 Hobbit :)
You had said 5th of RotK before, but is it 4th? Thank you VERY much for all of your help :) I tried to figure this out a year plus ago and got bogged down. If you can't access the "Tolkien Collector" articles by Steven Frisby then you can only get so far off the net. They should really bind those, along with his later Hobbit articles, into a small book and sell it.

It is a 5th, my mistake, the placement of the A&U device is how I determined that.
emilien helped me confirm 8th impression on the FotR. All from 1959, even though bought separately? That's cool :)
Added a 1959 11th printing of the George Allen and Unwin version of The Hobbit today :) It doesn't have a DJ, so it went for under $200 (less than I was willing to pay) and I love the "Green Dragon cover" anyway! I'll probably get a facsimile cover for it. I was also looking at a 10th printing of the US edition and planned to offer $200, but it also didn't have a DJ and they might not have accepted the offer. I'm happy with the purchase and can't wait for it to arrive!
