Road Goes Ever On 1968 Proof

Well, with a heads up (and my thanks) from northman, I was able to buy today a proof of the UK 1968 “The Road Goes Ever On” from the same local bookseller I purchased my “Tree and Leaf” proof.

And a letter from Allen and Unwin announcing the upcoming publications of “Smith of Wootton Major”, this book and the LP record “The Poems and Songs of Middle Earth”. I found it funny that A&U started off the letter by saying that “…we are not publishing The Silmarillion yet!”
