Great interview with Alan and a nice reminder why he (and Ted) are my favorite Tolkien illustrators. His new Rivendell piece looks amazing....the buildings look natural in the landscape, and the nature looks real. Also a far cry from overblown dimensions and 'drama'.

It's now five minutes past the official opening of sales, and 423 have sold. That seems to be the initial flurry of interest.

Correction: nine minutes past, and only 187 copies left.

They limited it to one per order, but looks like you can order as many times as you wanted to
