End of one quest, beginning of another

I finally got my hands on a first edition Hobbit, except not an Allen & Unwin one per se, but a Children's Book Club from 1942. I was pleased to find a little bonus inside, from a previous owner : a map (s)he drew for his own use, given that there is none in this edition.
Now, I will try to get a Allen & Unwin first edition, but I fear the prices are to high.
