Yes, there was a HB issued by HC and a PB issued by Grafton, each of which only got two print runs if memory serves…
The hardback has two different spine designs in terms of the JRRT sigil (two impressions overall). My copies are in the UK awaiting delivery to me at some point (maybe years away, depending on in-laws suitcases) or I'd post a pic. I assume the Grafton PBs probably have the same two differing designs (but I don't have these PBs to be sure -- I have never bothered to acquire them).
