Even so, are there ~300 significant UK editions/variants?
Probably not. But also collect US, Canada, Australia, Indonesia (English) Editions etc. Some duplicates. And I counted the Wenzel Editions (though counted 3 vol as 1).
But I have plenty of paperbacks and many insignificant printings.

Having just started I find myself with 2 UK editions plus one on the way and a translation in Italian, wich is my native language. Considering also 2 awful paperbacks I move to 5, 6 with the one that I hope to receive (intact) in two or three days.
Some numbers that I've seen here are just incredible, I knew that some people had a lot of them but I never even imagined this quantities.

- 2nd Edition (11th Impression)

- Allen & Unwin Deluxe
- Hague Paperback
- Alan Lee Hardaback
- 3 in Italian (which is my native language as well)
I have also 4 copies of the comic book version (in italian, in french, 2 in english of which 1 signed)
