These two Swedish first editions look to be in quite good condition - and especially ROTK - but there's an interesting addition which I haven't seen before, in the form of an insert (visible in the third picture) which tells readers about the appendices that have not been included in the Swedish translation. The note goes on to say that the appendices will be published if there is sufficient demand, and that those interested in the eventual 125 page supplement should complete the card and return it to their bookseller. Perhaps most readers did that, and thus these inserts ended up being quite scarce!
It was not until 1971 i.e. 10 years after the publication of ROTK, that the appendices finally appeared in Swedish, in a separate volume under the name Ringens Värld (The World of the Ring).
