Curious he was OK to ship to NZ !

I have an NZ Post freight forwarding account, so it is just a domestic US purchase and then I pay NZ Post for forwarding it.

Same thing for me, the seller did not want to send the books to France, I was surprised that he could send in NZ.

There are a few such services around. I don't use it much, but there are the occasional things that people won't post that are worth using it for (I've only used it a handful of times).
